So, here I am at the new battle station. It doesn’t feel like home yet, but it will. It still feels like I am visiting a neighbor’s house and I’m looking around and checking things out, rummaging through their stuff while they are out of the room. what?
So far, all I have been able to do was respond to Boomama’s and Dcrmom’s comments on my last post. Which, I love that I can finally respond to people’s comments (Finally! A frickin dialogue!) but that is all I have figured out how to do so far, and it hardly counts because all I did was hit reply on my email. I would have linked to both of their blogs at the beginning of this paragraph under their respective names but I don’t know how to do that yet. So, sorry. Trust me, they are really great blogs and you would have enjoyed them if I could have provided an avenue in which you were able to do that.
So, a few kinks to work out. A few more things to add. A few more days of driving Karen (blog designer at Swank) UP THE WALL! with my neediness and questions and perfectionist manifesto drama (can we try out a few more fonts? how about a different color scheme? what do you think? do you like it Karen? do you like it? can we make it bolder? more prominent? more mommish but still battle stationish? I don’t know….). I can’t imagine myself as a client. I would have fired me days ago, I would have fired myself as a client DAYS AGO.
But CHECK OUT THE HEADER YO! Three cheers for Karen! I thought she pulled off the “under cover battle station Mom vibe” with perfection.
Thanks for your patience while I continue to pull my hair out trying to manuever my way through this new system. I’m hoping we’ll be back to your regularly scheduled programming soon.

Oh Jamie - you’ve been fun! I’m surprised you didn’t strangle ME! Besides, it isn’t often I add a client to my blogroll, but I love your blog and your family, and well, I’m hooked!
We will get you sorted out, don’t worry so much, lady!
