Best bumper sticker ever

“Don’t Believe Everything You Think”I love this sticker. I love the girl who was driving this car with the sticker upon it, even though she drives a Ford.

Bumper Stickers are hard. We personally don’t condone bumper stickers on our own vehicles, however, we love love love to judge people by the bumper stickers on their vehicles. It’s so awesome. You don’t even have to bother with getting to know them, they have provided a Reader’s Digest version of themselves on their bumper for the whole world to see. Here is me. This is me summed up in a sticker.

Do I feel bad cutting this person off? No! They work for God, they clearly won’t mind.

Do I feel bad cutting this person off? No! They have 4 honor roll kids. They’re fine.

Should I let this person in? I don’t think so, his truck says “Speak English A**hole!”Should I let this person in? They have Showdogs on board, somehow that is very annoying, therefore No.

What about this guy? Should I let you in? What does your bumper say? Who Would Jesus Bomb?! Come on in my friend, welcome to my lane.

You want in too? Who are you? Tell me about yourself. Yorkies? That’s it? That’s all that you are passionate about? Yorkies? No. Not good enough. Not good enough for my lane, not here, not now.

May I help you? Oh you want in my lane? Well, your car says you’re tired of pressing 1 for English. Sorry. Go find truck guy.

And you? You recycle……… okay fine, whatever, you can come in.

Oh and you can all be as Recyclicy and Peacy and Global Warmingy and Jesusy as you want but if you don’t give me that little wave when I let you in, it’s on.

  1. This is a riot. I was dieing while I was reading this.

I have a confession to make. When I was in high school some kids in the art class made a bunch of stickers with pictures of screws on them.

You know those bumper stickers that read, ‘I heart my (insert pedigree pet)’.

yeah, went around mall parking lots and put our stickers over the hearts. I officially apologize to the residents of Illinois. I’m sorry. I was 16.

  2. That is GREAT. And you’re right; you can tell a lot about a person by their bumper stickers. Although I don’t have them on my car. If I did, it would be a really liberal one. In fact, I like the one that says “Jesus was a liberal.” But I live in such a conservative area and drive a Toyota that I’m a bit afraid to put a bumper sticker really espousing who I am on my car. So I just enjoy (or not) other people’s bumper stickers.

  3. Oh, Theresa, that was bad, bad, bad! I wish I’d have thought of it myself! :)

Jamie, you are too funny with this post.

  4. I LOVE the bumper sticker cars! In the bay they are all covered with liberal bumper stickers, but my FAVORITES are always the junky old volvos that are spewing smoke from their tail pipes covered with greenpeace and save the planet bumper stickers. Hypocrite much?

Of course we are two of the ten conservatives that live in the bay area, so if we would DARE to put the “turn right at next election” bumper sticker on our car we would be destroyed by “peace loving tolerant hippies”

:-) Oh and I’m with you on the wave. That is something I almost never see around here. if I’m feeling feisty I’ll drive up beside the person who didn’t wave to me on the freeway and give them the evil sarcastic wave, then pull in front of them and slow down. That is road rage, I’m guilty.

  5. You totally crack me up…you’re so right, the bumper sticker sure does rate you on the “I will be nice to you on the road” scale. The bumper sticker that will definitely find you in my rearview mirror? Bush 2004 :)

  6. LMAO!!! I finally agreed to put something on my car when my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. That is a magnetic pink ribbon…very removable!!

I love reading bumper stickers…..on other people’s cars, and even in stores. I just avoid putting them on my car. Like you said, they lead to instant judgement.

And the “wave”. What has become of common courtesy?!?!?!
